SundayStamp#17:Dinosaurs

February 26, 2012 by Postcard Perfect

I would like to thank a fellow Sunday Stamper, Zarah, from Postcards Crossing and My Stamp Menagerie for sending this beautiful Dino stamps for my boys whom were over the moon when they saw it.

It’s been a while since I submit my last entry to Sunday Stamp and I’m trying to keep up this time.

These are very cool. I have been reading about a new dinosaur exhibit opening at the Royal Ontario Museum, so seeing these is very timely!

Great stamps! I love it that they have both the perceived image of the dinosaur and the skeleton from which the image was built from.

I myself am quite surprised to see dinosaurs on Cambodian stamps; something I don’t expect to be issued in Cambodia :) I haven’t heard of a dinosaur fossil discovered in the Kingdom but one of the ancient temples inside the Angkor Wat complex, called Ta Prohm temple, has a stegosaurian dinosaur carved in one of its walls!

    Thanks for the feature ^.^

  8. Awesome stamps! Haven’t seen any take on this design before. What a great piece to have enough detail for both the skeleton and the dinosaur form.
